In 1966, in the heart of North Beach - San Fransisco, two friends opened a shop specialized in mountain equipment, including backpacks and climbing accessories. The store was called The North Face, as a reference to a mountain in the northern hemisphere. The store becomes a brand that sells its own products. 40 years later, the brand remains the reference for explorers, whether in the mountains or in urban areas.
